The fees for the course are £4,698

This includes all NCTJ examination fees for papers sat during the course.

You will be asked for a non-refundable deposit of £400 to secure your place on the course.

If you need help with fees, you may be eligible for an award from the Journalism Diversity Fund.

The fund has been set up by those in the industry who want to join together to support the training of journalists from ethnically and socially diverse backgrounds.

Editors recognise it is vital that journalists reporting the news reflect the communities they serve.

It is aimed at people without the financial means to attend NCTJ training courses. Applicants will need to demonstrate a genuine commitment to journalism and the potential to be successful.

The fund is managed and administered on behalf of the industry by the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ).
